"Pushkin Gala". To the 220th anniversary of the birth of A.S. Pushkin

June 6, the day of the 220th anniversary of the birth of A.S. Pushkin, on the Main stage at St. Basil's Cathedral, the leading soloists and orchestra of the Musical Theater named after. K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko will give a gala concert dedicated to the closing of the book festival "Red Square"

Pushkin's works formed the basis for many performances for both dramatic and musical theaters. This list includes “Ruslan and Lyudmila” by Glinka, “Rusalka” and “The Stone Guest” by Dargomyzhsky, “The Tale of Tsar Saltan”, “The Golden Cockerel” by Rimsky-Korsakov, “Eugene Onegin”, “Mazeppa” and “The Queen of Spades” by Tchaikovsky . 

At the gala concert, Dmitry Ulyanov will perform Gremin’s aria from the opera “Eugene Onegin” by P.I. Tchaikovsky, as well as an aria by Boris Godunov "The soul grieves" from the opera M.P. Mussorgsky "Boris Godunov". Also, other leading soloists of MAMT will take part in the concert. K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko - Larisa Andreeva, Irina Vashchenko, Elena Guseva, Vladimir Dmitruk, Nikolay Erokhin, Roman Ulybin. Conductor - Felix Korobov.
