Announcement of the new season 2022-2023

We present to your attention the announcement of the new season of Dmitry Ulyanov!

Dmitry will open the 2022 - 2023 season in the same way as last year, in August 2022, going to Geneva (Switzerland) to begin rehearsals as Cardinal de Brogni in a new production of F. Halévy’s opera “The Jewess” (conductor - Mark Minkowski , directed by David Elden). Performances will take place in Grand Theater of Geneva September 15, 17, 20, 23, 25 and 28, 2022

In the fall, the Moscow public will be able to see Dmitry on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater: on October 12, 14 and 16 in the role of King Philip II from the opera Don Carlos by G. Verdi, and on November 9, 11 and 13 he will sing the role of the German king for the first time on the stage of the same theater Heinrich the Birdcatcher in Wagner's opera Lohengrin. Also in October and November on the stage of MAMT named after. K.S. Stanislavsky and V.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko will host “Khovanshchina”, “The Tales of Hoffmann”, “Eugene Onegin” and other performances already loved by the audience with the participation of Dmitry Ulyanov.

Immediately after the New Year holidays, Dmitry will go to Munich, where he will perform the role of Kutuzov in a new production of S. Prokofiev’s opera “War and Peace” (director - Dmitry Chernyakov, conductor - Vladimir Yurovsky). Performances will take place on stage Bavarian State Opera March 5, 9, 12, 15 and 18, and July 2 and 7, 2023

After the March performances in Munich, Dmitry immediately returns to Geneva to begin rehearsals for the role of Boris Timofeevich Izmailov in the production of D. Shostakovich’s opera “Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk”. Performances will take place in Grand Theater of Geneva April 30, May 2, 4, 7 and 9, 2023, directed by Calixto Bieito and conducted by Alejo Perez.
