Today, at the age of 76, the famous conductor, People's Artist of the RSFSR Māris Jansons died. This is an irreparable loss for his family and friends, colleagues and the entire musical art!
Dmitry Ulyanov was lucky enough to work with this talented musician in the production of “Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk” at the Salzburg Festival in 2017, and in 2020 they were supposed to meet together again in the production of “Boris Godunov”. But, unfortunately, this joint work was not destined to come true...
