Next week, the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing will offer viewers J. Offenbach's opera “The Tales of Hoffmann”, where Dmitry Ulyanov will perform the already familiar roles of 4 villains (Lindorff, Coppelius, Dapertutto, Doctor Miracle). The director of the play is Francesca Zambello, the director is Stefan Grögler (new version of the play). The orchestra will be conducted by Pinchas Steinberg.
The main roles along with Dmitry will be: Peter Sonn, Daria Terekhova, Nancy Fabiola Herrera, Ekaterina Bakanova and Paola Gardina.
The performances will take place on July 10, 12 and 14, 2019, and for Dmitry they will be the final ones of this season.
