In August 2017, Dmitry performed for the first time at the prestigious Salzburg Festival, performing the complex role of Boris Timofeevich Izmailov in D. Shostakovich’s opera “Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk”. The opera was directed by Andreas Kriegenburg; the conductor is the magnificent Maris Jansons. Dmitry's partners on stage were such wonderful artists as Nina Stemme, Brandon Yovanovitch, Maxim Paster, Ksenia Dudnikova, Andrei Popov and many others.
