We present to your attention the announcement of the new season of Dmitry Ulyanov!
Dmitry opens the new season on a new stage Teatro Colon In Buenos Aires, he will take part in a production of Offenbach's opera "The Tales of Hoffmann," playing four villains (Lindorf, Coppélius, Dapertutto, and Doctor Miracle). Performances will take place in October 2026. The orchestra will be conducted by Carlo Montanaro, and directed by Miguel Martínez.
In December, everyone will be able to see Dmitry Ulyanov again on stage in the role of Chub from N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov's opera "The Night Before Christmas" (directed by Barry Kosky, conducted by Vladimir Jurowski and Azim Karimov). Bavarian State OperaPerformances will take place on December 19, 22, 26 and 29, 2026.
Also in December, Dmitry will begin rehearsals for the part of Boris Godunov in the opera of the same name by M.P. Mussorgsky in Teatro Regio in ParmaPerformances will take place on January 22, 24, 28 and 30, 2027.
Dmitry will then travel to Paris to begin work on the role of Boris Timofeevich in Shostakovich's opera Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District (directed by Krzysztof Warlikowski and conducted by Ingo Metzmacher). Rehearsals for Mussorgsky's opera Boris Godunov, directed by Vasily Barkhatov, will also begin in May. Dmitry Ulyanov will perform the title role of Tsar Boris. And in August, Dmitry will finish the season on the same stage where he began it – at the Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, with another Boris in the opera Boris Godunov.
