On July 28, 2024, Mozart's opera "Don Giovanni" was premiered at the Salzburg Festival, with Dmitri Ulyanov performing the role of the Il Commendatore. The opera was directed by Romeo Castellucci and conducted by the magnificent Teodor Currentzis. Dmitry's partners on stage were such marvellous artists as Davide Luciano (Don Giovanni), Kyle Ketelsen (Leporello), Nadezhda Pavlova (Donna Anna), Federica Lombardi (Donna Elvira) and many others.
The premiere was an incredible success! Dmitry and his scene mates received an enthusiastic reception from the sophisticated festival audience.
The next performances of the festival will take place on August 6, 9, 11, 14 and 19, 2024.
