We present to your attention the announcement of the new season of Dmitry Ulyanov!
Dmitry will open the new season 2024-2025 by performing the role of the Il Commandotore in a production of the opera by Mozart's "Don Giovanni" on Salzburg Festival. Performances will take place on July 28, August 6, 9, 11, 14 and 19, 2024. Conductor - Teodor Currentzis, director - Romeo Castellucci.
Next, Dmitry will go to Vienna to take part in the production of G. Verdi’s opera “Don Carlos”, in which he will perform the role of the Grand Inquisitor. The director is Kirill Serebrennikov, the orchestra will be conducted by Philippe Jordan. Performances will take place on stage Vienna State Opera September 26, 29, October 3, 6 and 9, 2024
Immediately after the performances in Vienna, Dmitry goes to Italy, where he will take part in two operas by the great Giuseppe Verdi: on October 25 and 27 he will performe the role of Zachariah in “Nabucco” on the stage of the Verdi Theater in Salerno, and then at Rome Opera House he will perform the role of Jacopo Fiesco in the opera Simon Boccanegra (director Richard Jones, conductor Michel Mariotti) on November 29, December 1 and 4.
In December Dmitry will go to Germany to begin rehearsals for the role of Banco from the "Macbeth". The director of the performance will be Martin Kuschey, the conductor will be Andrea Battistoni. The performances will take place on the stage of Bavarian State Opera December 14, 17 and 20, 2024
Immediately after the New Year holidays, Dmitry will go to Milan to participate in the production of the Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin" (conductor - Timur Zangiev, director - Mario Martone). On the stage of the La Scala theater he will perform the role of Gremin. Performances will take place on February 19, 22 and March 2, 5, 8, 11 2025.
In parallel with this, Dmitry will begin rehearsals for the title role of Ivan Khovansky in M. Mussorgsky’s opera “Khovanshchina”. The stage director is Calixto Bieito, and the orchestra will be conducted by Alejo Perez. Performances will take place on stage Grand Theater of Geneva March 25, 27, 30 and April 1, 3, 2025
And after a short break Dmitry will return to Vienna to start his rehersals in Verdi’s opera “Il Trovatore” (conductor - Marco Armiliato, director - Daniele Abbado). On May 18, 21, 24,27, 30 and XNUMX, everyone will be able to see Dmitry in the role of Ferrando on the stage of Vienna State Opera.
