From March 13 to 17, 2024, a series of performances “Khovanshchina” directed by Leonid Baratov will be held on the Historical Stage of the Bolshoi Theater. This will be a joint project of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky theaters: the Mariinsky performance will be performed with the participation of artists, the choir and the Bolshoi orchestra. The orchestra will be conducted by maestro Valery Gergiev.
Dmitry Ulyanov, as a guest soloist of the Bolshoi Theater, will perform the role of Ivan Khovansky on March 14, 2024. Along with Dmitry, such wonderful artists as Konstantin Artemyev (Prince Andrei Khovansky), Ilya Selivanov (Prince Vasily Golitsyn), Elchin Azizov (Shaklovity), Vladislav Popov (Dosifey), Ksenia Dudnikova (Martha).
