On November 9, Poland hosted its annual awards ceremony to honor outstanding achievements in opera around the world. The Bavarian State Opera received an award as the Best Opera House of 2023, as well as an award for the Best Production of 2023 - “War and Peace” directed by Dmitry Chernyakov, in which Dmitry Ulyanov performed the role of Kutuzov.
