Today, on 19 March, the General Director of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, theatricologist and professor Vladimir Urin celebrated his 75th birthday!
For 18 years Vladimir Urin headed the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre, and made it one of the most visited theatres. And now, for almost 10 years, he has been the head of the country’s main musical theatre – the Bolshoi Theatre. He not only save the theatre’s heritage and unique traditions, but also expands the repertoire with new and exciting productions! With his participation many critical questions in the sphere of Russian theatrical art are being resolved!
