On February 14, 2021 at 21.25, everyone will be able to watch the concert “Khibla Gerzmava and Friends,” which took place on January 19, 2020 on the stage of the State Kremlin Palace to mark the singer’s anniversary.
The opera diva was congratulated by her colleagues and close friends: Anna Netrebko, Yusif Eyvazov, Dmitry Ulyanov, Igor Golovatenko, Denis Matsuev, outstanding violinist and conductor Vladimir Spivakov, Chulpan Khamatova, trumpeter Sergei Nakaryakov and many others. Many famous arias and duets from operas were performed. Dmitry Ulyanov performed Leporello’s aria from Act 1 of the opera “Don Giovanni” at this evening, and also sang with the hero of the occasion duet of Adina and Dulcamara from the opera “Elisir of Love”.
The surprise at this evening was Khibla Gerzmava’s performance of the song “Tenderness”, accompanied by a projection of photographs of her parents; the author of the music, Alexandra Pakhmutova, came to the piano, and was greeted by the entire audience standing.
