Upcoming performances by Dmitry Ulyanov. Spring and summer 2020

Winter has come to an end, and with it a series of performances by Dmitry Ulyanov on various stages in Moscow: on January 19, he performed at the Anniversary concert of the opera diva Khibla Gerzmava on the stage of the State Kremlin Palace. On February 14, 15, 16 and 18 he performed the role of the Varangian Guest in D. Chernyakov’s new production of the opera “Sadko” at the Bolshoi Theater of Russia. Also in February, Dmitry delighted his fans by performing the role of Raimondo in the opera “Lucia di Lammermoor” and 4 villains in the opera “The Tales of Hoffmann” on the stage of his native theater. Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko. At Helikon Opera, Dmitry took part in the Gala concert for the anniversary of E.V. Brazhnik, in which artists from four musical theaters where the famous conductor worked performed. On March 6 and 8, 2020, Dmitry Ulyanov will perform on the stage of a large concert hall Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon in the role of Prince Gremin from the opera by P.I. Tchaikovsky "Eugene Onegin" (director - Christina Helin, conductor - Lorenzo Viotti).

From the beginning of April, Dmitry will begin rehearsals, and in May he will appear on stage for the first time Canadian Opera Toronto as Daland in the new production of Wagner's opera The Flying Dutchman (conductor - Johannes Debus, director - Christopher Alden). Performances will take place on May 1, 3, 6, 9, 12, 14 and 16, 2020.

On May 17, rehearsals for Rimsky-Korsakov's opera The Golden Cockerel will begin at the opera festival in Aix-en-Provence, France. In this new production by the famous director Barry Koski, Dmitry will play the role of King Dodon. Performances will take place on July 2, 4, 7, 9, 11 and 14, 2020.

And at the end of the 2019-2020 season, Dmitry will again take the stage at one of the world’s most famous annual summer Salzburg Festival, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year! He will perform the role of Pimen in the opera by M.P. Mussorgsky "Boris Godunov". The main roles will also include Ildar Abdrazakov (Boris Godunov), Yulia Mazurova (Fedor), Dmitry Golovnin (Vasily Shuisky), Pavel Chernokh (impostor Grigory), Agunda Kulaeva (Marina Mnishek) and others.
