In a few days - the beginning of Dmitry Ulyanov's new creative season!
Dmitry will open the 2019-2020 season on the stage of the Vienna State Opera, where he will perform the role of the Grand Inquisitor in G. Verdi's opera Don Carlos. Performances will take place on September 6, 9 and 12, 2019 (directed by Daniele Abbado, conducted by Jonathan Darlindton).
In the same opera, but on the stage of the Madrid Teatro Real on September 29 and October 04, 2019, he will perform the role of King Philip II (conductor: Diego Garcia Rodriguez, director: David McVicar).
On October 8, on the stage of the Moscow New Opera Theater named after E.V. Kolobov Dmitry Ulyanov will perform at a concert dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Ural State Conservatory. M.P. Mussorgsky. The concert will be attended by graduates of the conservatory and the Symphony Orchestra of the Ural State Conservatory named after M.P. Mussorgsky.
Also in October, Dmitry will delight the Moscow public with performances at the home theater of Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko: on October 10, he will perform the role of Raimondo in Donizetti’s opera “Lucia Di Lammermoor”, and on October 14, he will perform the roles of 4 villains (Lindorff, Coppelius, Dapertutto, Doctor Miracle ) in J. Offenbach's opera “The Tales of Hoffmann”.
Next, Dmitry will go to Paris to begin rehearsals for the role of Prince Galitsky in a new production of A. Borodin’s opera “Prince Igor” on the stage of the Opera Bastille. The performances will take place from the end of November to the end of December 2019. Conductor - Philippe Jordan, director - Barry Koski.
