Last night, at the age of 48, the leading soloist of the opera troupe of the Moscow Academic Musical Theater. K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko Sergey Balashov. He was an outstanding tenor, a subtle artist and a wonderful, kind person with a warm heart!

For almost 20 years, Sergei was a soloist of the Musical Theater named after. K.S. Stanislavsky and Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko, performed dozens of bright roles. He took part in most of MAMT's opera performances: he sang Lensky in Eugene Onegin, Alfredo in La Traviata, Ferrando in That's What All Women Do, Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore, Werther in the opera of the same name, Arturo in Lucia di Lammermoor. , in “The Tales of Hoffmann”, Ottavio in “Don Giovanni” and many others.

The death of such an artist is a great loss for the theater, colleagues and fans of his talent!
