On February 26, 2019, the famous theater figure, talented director, actor, producer Andrejs Žagars died at the age of 61. This is an irreparable loss for his family and friends, colleagues and fans of his talent!
Dmitry Ulyanov and his colleagues at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theater were lucky enough to work with this amazing person and talented director on the production of the opera “Tannhäuser” in 2013. Unfortunately, new joint theater projects were not destined to come true.
