From the end of February 2019, Dmitry Ulyanov will begin rehearsals for the role of Boris Timofeevich Izmailov in the new production of D. Shostakovich’s opera “Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk” on the stage of the Opera Bastille in Paris (director - Krzysztof Warlikowski, conductor - Ingo Metzmacher). The performances will take place in April 2019, and as part of the OperaHD project (screenings of performances by the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the Paris National Opera in Russia), all opera lovers will be able to see the broadcast of the performance in Moscow cinemas.
The live broadcast will take place on April 16, 2019 at 20.30, and recordings of the opera will begin on May 25, 2019 in the KARO 11 October and KARO 7 Atrium cinemas.
